Aston Martin DB11 Volante Review - HEY GENTS

Weekend Drive: Northern Beaches | Aston Martin DB11 Volante

A long weekend in spring—the sun intermittently peeking through the clouds, the temperature not too warm, not too cool—perhaps the ideal time for a leisurely drive up Sydney’s Northern Beaches with the top down. Many convertibles would fit the bill just fine, but very few with the allure and thrill of the Aston Martin DB11 Volante.

Dressed head-to-toe in staggering specs, and packing a 4-litre bi-turbo V8 engine, the DB11 Volante is no ordinary weekend cruiser—although it is surprisingly well-behaved when you want it to be. An ultra-luxurious, exceedingly comfortable drive is child’s play for this beautifully-designed vehicle. Then, when the time comes to put your foot down, without fail, there’s the eye-watering thunder that one would likely buy this car to hear whenever they please. Taking you from 0-100km/h in a blazingly quick 4.1 seconds, you’d be well advised to hold onto your hat.
