In Drive: 1979 Porsche 911 Turbo

Debuting in the mid-1970’s the Porsche 911 Turbo (also known as the 930) turned heads with its sleek looks and impressive performance. The top-of-the-range sports car maintained the signature silhouette the popular Porsche 911 and introduced the “whale tail” spoiler, nicknamed after its hefty shape. This addition helped to keep the back tyres grounded when flying at high speeds, capable of a top speed of around 250 km/h.
