Ivy Muse – Sanctuary Pot
Available in two neutral colourways, ivory and latte, the Sanctuary Pot by Ivy Muse is a good option if you want to keep it simple. The minimalist design allows it to work nicely in any space you place it. Plus, it makes it easy to style with other pots as well. The Sanctuary Pot will work well with a range of small to medium plants, but beware its lack of drainage holes means you won’t want to plant directly into it.
Zakkia Homewares’ Podium Pot is a modern and sleek choice for your plants. The black colourway is versatile and would look nice with a host of different plants. Stick with one that has darker foliage, like a rubber plant or peace lily, to create a bit of a moody look, or opt for bright foliage, like that of devil’s ivy, for contrast. With no drainage hole in the Podium Pot, you won’t want to plant directly into it.
A collaboration between JD.Lee and Domus Botanica, the Timber Plant Stand is a great way to elevate your plants and add some dimension to your room’s design. It’s available in two sizes; a small table-top version or a larger floor stand. The pieces are handmade from White American Oak. It’s a great addition to your place if you prefer a super clean and natural aesthetic.
The Benny Planter by Middle Of Nowhere is crafted from powder coated steel and is available in a range of sizes and colours. This makes it easy to mix and match them to create a more dynamic and varied look with your plants. The sleek and refined pot would make for a nice home for a range of different plants, but we think a lush trailing devil’s ivy or heart-leaf philodendron would suit it especially well.
Don’t think there’s any room in your place for an indoor plant? No problem. Scandinavian design brand ferm Living has created small planters that can be mounted on walls, plus hexagon shaped pots that fit perfectly into them. It’s an ideal solution if you’re short on floor or shelf space, or want to keep plants out of reach of pets or kids.
Designed by Danish studio Norm Architects for Menu, the Wire Base + Pot is a stellar minimalist indoor plant pot for your home. The pieces come separate, allowing for the ability to customise the look, and they’re available in either black or white. The wire base comes in three different heights too; have a few clustered together to make a focal point in the room, or have a stand-alone one for a more refined look.
The Zakkia Concrete Pot is a nice choice if you like a raw, industrial look in your place. It works nicely styled with other concrete pieces, plus looks good contrasted with other natural materials like timber. It doesn’t have a drainage hole, so you won’t want to plant directly into it. The Concrete Pot also makes for a stellar storage vessel if your attempt at keeping a plant alive doesn’t quite pan out…
Bendo’s Plant Stand offers a simple design, that’s crafted from durable powder coated iron wire. It’s a great way of giving your greenery a little leg up. Most plants would work well with this piece, but a lush trailing plant would look stellar as it slowly winds its way down the wire. The Plant Stand is available in black, white, and copper, so will suit most existing room designs.
