TID Releases A New Fun & Minimal Watch Design | TID No.3
TID Watches Release New Minimal Design | TID No.3
Continuing their streak of releasing some stellar new designs this year, TID Watches has just launched the TID No.3 watch. The Swedish brand again turned to the same design studio who created their first two pieces for No.3 – Form Us With Love. What they’ve crafted this time is another beautifully minimal design, but with a more playful edge.
No.3’s case is made from a polycarbonate material called TR90. This is a lightweight and flexible material that offers durability, which is normally used for sunnies and optical glasses because of how comfortable it is. In the watch, the TR90 delivers a unique, clear case that allows the watch face’s design to come to the fore. Furthermore, there’s only some very subtle branding engraved in the band and no embellishments on the face, which further allows the design to be the main focus.
Embracing the playful nature of No.3’s design, TID has crafted five different colour faces and matching bands – orange, green, blue, pink, and grey. These are in addition to the classic black and white. The bands are made from silicone, offering a nice alternative to leather without losing the clean, sleek look that leather delivers.
Like their No.1 watch, TID has used a Miyota 2035 Japanese quartz movement for No.3. It carries a 3atm water resistance, meaning it’s safe from splashes. With a 38mm diameter, the watch won’t overwhelm your wrist, which is a good thing if you opt for one of the coloured options.
TID’s No.3 watch is a great way to inject a bit of fun and playfulness into your everyday wear. It’s a good alternative to the usual simple watch designs we’re used to, but it still retains a nice minimalist aesthetic. The watch is certainly a worthy extension of TID’s range of premium pieces.
