New Converse Cons One Star | The Range Receives A Modern Update
Converse Remasters The CONS One Star Range
A streetwear staple of the 90s, the Converse CONS One Star sneaker has received a modern update. The popular skate silhouette is now available in new suede, leather, and canvas finishes, making the simple style fit for most occasions. With Converse on a roll lately of giving their classic sneakers the Nike technology treatment, it would be remiss of them to leave the CONS One Stars out too. Luckily, they haven’t, and now the range features a Nike Lunarlon insole. Much like their role in the All Star II range, the new insole allows for greater comfort for longer periods of time. Their responsive cushioning remains light on your feet while the foam core spreads impact evenly. This means that no one point of your foot will bear the brunt of your day’s activities. While traditionally, the technology was used for Nike’s running and training shoes, they’re now a welcome addition to Converse’s street styles too.
The finishes of the new Converse CONS One Star sneakers have greatly diversified the range, giving them versatility beyond just the skate park or street. The leather iteration, for example, wouldn’t look out of place at a bar or somewhere slightly more dressy. The canvas option also looks really smart, especially in the white / mouse colourway. This neutral option is great for taking your look from day to night. Suede is the third option, with its look remaining the same but featuring a hairy suede upper and contrast stitching.
The new Converse CONS One Star range is a great option if you’re after a classic silhouette with the bonus of modern technology. Delivering versatility, retro looks, and now additional comfort, the Converse CONS One Star will remain an enduring style for years to come.
