Starting off as a sketch artist in university, Oliver McDonald, the man behind Oli Clothing, decided to take a gap year to concentrate on his label and see where he could take it. With the demand for his screen printed designs continually growing, the artist hasn’t looked back and has been working on Oli Clothing since 2012.
Hand drawn designs and a delicate hand printing process in his home studio in Perth display Oli’s passion for top quality, well fitted garments.
By seeing his products as pieces of art rather than just clothing, McDonald is a strong supporter of socially responsible production and takes pride in working closely with the skilled producers behind Oli Clothing.
The young designer’s latest work is a new cut and sew series that will be dropping this week. The range exhibits the precision efforts by both artist and manufacturer. This release is extremely limited and never to be reproduced.
